if i could just eat the bokeh, i'm pretty sure it'd be wonderfully creamy and delicious.
my goal is to post one picture a day, sharing things I see as I live life.
photography was always one of my interests, but I got serious about it when a good friend passed away prematurely. my friends and i came to a somber realization that very few pictures of him existed. from then on, i tried to capture moments to immortalize them, not knowing how much longer they will last. at some point, the bridges of life will contort. the hardest parts are usually the beginning and the end - when your balance is off and you feel like you’re going to fall. The key is to take everything slowly, one step at a time. When you get to the peak, everything will even out and your feet will find a strong base. Pause for a bit to see where you’ve come from and where you’re going. Then everything else is downhill from there.

at some point, everything is new and shiny. over the years, the experience and weather wears it down. rustiness emerges, paint chips, but that’s what gives us character. we are nothing without our experiences to shape us into the men and women we are today. therefore, do not be afraid of aging. embrace it. do what you can. take risks. live life to the fullest. YOLO, but if you do it right, once is enough.

For some reason, the Kavalan Whiskey distillery has an obsession with orchids. There was also a Christmas tree. What’s the automatic thought when there’s tons of little lights? Balls. Bokeh balls.

sorry I haven’t uploaded in a while. been busy. ;)
I just went on a 3 hour photo shoot this morning with a professional model and a whole bunch of middle aged men which made me feel like a creeper…but I’m still more than a month backlogged for pictures. Too many to look through and edit. There’s some good stuff coming, though!
